RULES FOR BEING HAPPY
God didn't promise days without pain,
laughter without sorrow,
sun without rain,
but he did promise strength for the day,
comfort for the tears,and light for the way.
Disappointments are like road bumps,
they slow you down a bit
but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards.
Don't stay on the bump too long.
Move on!
When you feel down because you didn't get what you want,
just sit tight and be happy,
because God is thinking ofsomething better to give you.
When something happens to you,
good or bad,
consider what it means.
There's a purpose to life's events
to teach you how to laugh moreor not to cry as hard.
You can't make someone love you,
all you can do is be someone who can be loved --
the rest is up to the other personto realize your worth.
The measure of love is when you love without measures.
In life there are very rare chances that you'll meet
the person you love who loves you in return.
So once you have it don't ever let go --
the chance might never come your way again.
It's better to lose your pride to the one you love,
than to lose the one you love because of pride.
We spend so much time looking for the right person to love
or finding fault with those we already love,
when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.
When you truly care for someone,
you don't look for faults,
you don't look for answers,
you don't look for mistakes.
Instead, you fight the mistakes,

a guided tour of HEAVEN
I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. Wewalked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.
My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, 'Thisis the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayerare received.'
I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so manyangels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets andscraps from people all over the world.
Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the secondsection. The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging andDelivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked forareprocessed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them.I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels workinghard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested andwere being packaged for delivery to Earth.
Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at thedoor of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angelwas seated there, idly doing nothing. 'This is the AcknowledgmentSection,' my angel friend quietly admitted to me.
He seemed embarrassed 'How is it that there is no work going onhere?' I asked.'So sad,' the angel sighed. 'After people receive the blessings thatthey asked for, very few send back acknowledgments.'
'How does one acknowledge God's blessings?' I asked.
'Simple,' the angel answered. Just say, 'Thank you, Lord.'
'What blessings should they acknowledge?' I asked.
'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roofoverhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in adish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy
And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% inthe world who has that opportunity.'
'If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... youare more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day 'If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness ofimprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ...you are ahead of 700 million people in the world.'
'If you can attend a place of worship without the fear of harassment,arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than,three billion people in the world .'
'If your parents are still alive and still married ...you are veryrare.'If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you'reunique to all those in doubt and despair.
'OK, what now? How can I start?
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing inthat someone is thinking of you as very special and you are moreblessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read atall.

Life Management Lessons
A little while ago, I was feeling terribly overwhelmed. So much to do... so little time, at least that's the way things seemed. I can remember crying out to God and asking Him to help me. After praying, He gave me some very practical answers... three of which I'd like to share with you:
1.) Get Rid of Distractions
Are you tied up with people and things that just keep you perpetually off track and out of balance? If so, you have to get that in check. If you're honest, you'll admit that some individuals consume far too much of your time. Whenever they're around, you end up trying to accommodate them while losing precious moments in the process. When this happens, you need to re-prioritize and re-order your life.
2.) Say No
Why is it so hard for us to say no? Well, for many people, it's the need to please and placate, that keeps them in a constant cycle of doing things they can't or don't want to do, just to keep others happy. Have you ever struggled with that?
Remember, just because demands are made on your time, energy, and other resources, doesn't mean you have to give in. This lesson can be hard to learn, but it's necessary. Certainly, you can give "a pleasant no"... but by all means, don't say yes to things that will end up creating unnecessary hardships for you.

3.) Pace Yourself
Hard work and perseverance is necessary to excel in life, but you can't expect things to happen overnight. Everything won't come together in a day... you have to be patient. Recognize that things will manifest when the time is right... and not a day sooner. No amount of toiling can alter God's timing. Struggling, trying to force things to come together will only lead to disappointment and frustration. So, pace yourself. Take things one day at a time, and trust God to do what you cannot. Most assuredly, He will!

कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती
लहरों से डर कर नौका पार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती.
नन्हीं चींटी जब दाना लेकर चलती है,
चढ़ती दीवारों पर, सौ बार फिसलती है.
मन का विश्वास रगों में साहस भरता है,
चढ़कर गिरना, गिरकर चढ़ना न अखरता है.
आख़िर उसकी मेहनत बेकार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती.
डुबकियां सिंधु में गोताखोर लगाता है,
जा जा कर खाली हाथ लौटकर आता है.
मिलते नहीं सहज ही मोती गहरे पानी में,
बढ़ता दुगना उत्साह इसी हैरानी में.
मुट्ठी उसकी खाली हर बार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती.
असफलता एक चुनौती है, इसे स्वीकार करो,
क्या कमी रह गई, देखो और सुधार करो.
जब तक न सफल हो, नींद चैन को त्यागो तुम,
संघर्श का मैदान छोड़ कर मत भागो तुम.
कुछ किये बिना ही जय जय कार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती.

Today I will delete
Today I will delete from my diary
two days: yesterday and tomorrow
Yesterday was to learn
and tomorrow will be the consequence
of what I can do today.
Today I will face life
with the conviction that this day
will not ever return.
Today is the last opportunity
I have to live intensely,
as no one can assure me
that I will see tomorrow's sunrise.
Today I will be brave enough
not to let any opportunity pass me by,
my only alternative is to succeed.
Today I will invest
my most valuable resource:my time ,
in the most trascendental work:
my life ;
I will spend each minute
passionately to make
of today a different
and unique day in my life.
Today I will defy every obstacule
that appears on my way trusting
I will succeed.
Today I will resist
pesimism and will conquer
the world with a smile,
with the positive attitude
of expecting always the best.
Today I will make of every ordinary task
a sublime expression,
Today I will have my feet on the ground
understanding reality
and the stars' gaze
to invent my future.
Today I will take the time to be happy
and will leave my footprints and my presence
in the hearts of others.
Today, I invite you to begin a new season
where we can dream
that everything we undertake is possible
and we fulfil it,
with joy and dignity.

FAILURE?
When it looks like I have failed.
Lord are you trying to tell me something?
Failure doesn't mean I'm a failure.
It does mean I haven't yet succeeded.
Failure doesn't mean I have accomplished nothing.
It does mean I have learned something.
Failure doesn't mean I have been a fool.
It does mean I had enough faith to experiment.
Failure doesn't mean I have been disgraced.
It does mean I dared to try.
Failure doesn't mean I don't have it.
It does mean I have to do something a different way.
Failure doesn't mean I am inferior.
It does mean I am not perfect.
Failure doesn't mean I should give up.
It does mean I should try harder.
